The Azerbaijan Hapkido Federation held an international seminar in the presence of the head of the World Hapkido Organization to develop this sport. This seminar was held in Baku with the cooperation and teaching of Grand Master Jafar Navaei , president of the Central Asian Hapkido Association. In this seminar, participants were taught specialized self-defense techniques, cold weapons, and stunts. Athletes from Azerbaijan have good talent in martial arts. And with better planning, they can have a powerful presence in international Hapkido arenas.
